Here details the development progress for project MEEP.
MEEP stands for pre-Medical Electronic Education Platform. MEEP is an e-learning platform dedicated to help undergraduate students who aspire to pursue medicine (whether clinical or research) with their academics.
The philosophy of MEEP (probably will change):
- Make textbooks shorter – information contained in the lecture is the textbook.
- Implement more practice – review lecture content and strengthen memory formation more effectively.
- Emphasize on application – knowing that we’re learning something that can potentially contribute significantly to society is a great motivator, especially for medicine-related fields.
- Connect with Daily Life – some concepts are harder to connect, but for those that are easier to do so, relevancy is important.
- Promote Critical Thinking – learn to apply course knowledge in our lives.
- Accessibility is Priority – Hopefully some experiments can be done using household items.
Progress Bar (Last Updated: Nov. 16, 2024)
Currently, only general chemistry is being actively developed. There are approximately more than 50 lectures, more than 10 chapter quizzes, 4 unit tests, and 1 final exam visioned for this course.
